spencer rush

If you’ve ever read an “Artist Biography,” then you’ve heard (or read) it all before. In the case of Spencer Rush, though, it’s all true. Spencer’s songs are edgy and cool. His real-life wit and emotion come through in each line, supported by a velvety voice with incredible range. Spencer has taken the best of his musical influences (Elton John, The Police, and Pink Floyd, among others) and created a sound that’s unique, yet utterly universal.

Spencer’s latest EP, “Change of Scenery” was produced by The Ultras (Songwriting/production duo Eran Tabib and Harold Stephan) at Sherwood Ridge Studios in Pomona, NY with owner/engineer C Lanzbom (Founder of band SoulFarm.) It includes an electric mix of three songs varying in styles and co-written with The Ultras. Spencer’s previous CD is also available on Itunes as well as many other online stores. It was produced by Noel Golden (Matchbox 20, Angie Aparo, Edwin McCain) at Sonica Studios in Atlanta, GA. The 6-song EP is an example of mature songwriting combined with passion and talent of some of the best in business.

Playing over 250 shows a year, Spencer knows the value of consistent touring and grassroots promotion. As a result, he has developed an amazingly loyal fan base in numerous markets throughout the North and South Carolina and Georgia.
